Power is back on! 12/17/2012

The power is back on at Friends Center. IT services are coming back on line. Hopefully all will be back to normal shortly.

Friends Center Power Outage, 12/17/2012

Today is Monday, December 17. A few minutes ago Friends Center in Philadelphia experienced a power outage that is affecting several buildings in downtown Philadelphia. Power here is completely out--no phones, no computers, and no servers at all. This includes email, phone, Star Cafe, etc. 

The local power company projects that the power MAY be back on by 1:00pm US Eastern time.

AFSC email is still up

We did not lose power at Friends Center and email is still up and running.  Peace rvg

Hurricane Sandy

Hi: this is Bob Goodman and it is Friday afternoon and we want to have this blog ready in case Hurricane Sandy interferes with our normal email communications.  I will send out an email so that people will know how to get to this blog in an emergency.  My personal email is Bob.Goodman@gmail.com and my skype address is robertVgoodman .   Hopefully we will not need to use this and that Ohio State beats Penn State.

Power Back On

The maintenance on the power system is now complete. I should be able to start turning servers back on by 11am, US Eastern Time.
